Locus And Pestilence Upon You Gas Station!

The eighth plague of Exodus is back to haunt agriculture and does not only affect American crop fields. Swarms of locusts are often described as “hell from above,” the Middle East and Egypt have a recorded history of massive swarms of locusts of some 30 million insects strong. nowadays, crop dusters are being used to battle the locusts with biochemical sprays, just as they were used back in 2004, during a similar swarm.

A video footage that was taken on May 28, 2018, and comes to us from Slidell, Louisiana, USA, shows just a fragment of such insect infestations. The live, moving carpet all over a gas station equipment, street and, well, everything, is just a peek into what crops and fields endure.

This is what the maker of the video has to say about this event: "I was driving past the gas station and saw a big swarm of something. As curious and nosy as I am, I had to turn around and go see for myself to at least get a picture or video of it! The bugs were everywhere and you couldn’t even see the gas pumps because there were so many. It was crazy. I ended up bringing a bunch home since they all got stuck in my car. I was swarmed when I got out of my car at home. Those bugs are very annoying, worse than termites."
