Isaiah 37 - You are not "saved" because you follow Torah; You follow Torah because you are "saved".

Isa 37:11
'Behold, you have heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all the lands, destroying them completely. So will you be spared?

Sannecherib tells him "Look!," or "Behold! You know of all the battles we have won!" Tales of their victories in battle and of their total brutality were famous. He is trying the same demoralizing dialogue that Rabshakeh used.
Isa 37:12
'Did the gods of those nations which my fathers have destroyed deliver them, even Gozan and Haran and Rezeph and the sons of Eden who were in Telassar?

Once again, he repeats that the gods of other nations were of no avail against him.
Isa 37:13
'Where is the king of Hamath, the king of Arpad, the king of the city of Sepharvaim, and of Hena and Ivvah?'"

He concludes his little valentine by mentioning the kings he has slain because they have not surrendered to him.

Isa 37:14
Then Hezekiah took the letter from the hand of the messengers and read it, and he went up to the house of the LORD and spread it out before the LORD.

Hezekiah physically gave his problems over to Elohim. This is how we should respond to our troubles also (Psalm 27:5-8).
Isa 37:15
And Hezekiah prayed to the LORD saying,
Isa 37:16
"O LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, who art enthroned above the cherubim, Thou art the God, Thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth. Thou hast made heaven and earth.

Hezekiah knows that Elohim is not contained in the Temple. His presence is there, but it does not contain Him. He is over all kingdoms. He created everything in all the heavens and earth.
Isa 37:17
"Incline Thine ear, O LORD, and hear; open Thine eyes, O LORD, and see; and listen to all the words of Sennacherib, who sent them to reproach the living God.

Hezekiah is saying that this attack is not just an attack on Elohim's people, but it is blasphemy against Elohim Himself. The king of Assyria is mocking Elohim with his message.
