Welcome Mabel the Squirrel

On August 13, we welcomed a tiny rescue squirrel pup, Mabel, into our lives. Found abandoned just 24 hours earlier on a busy bike path, she was saved by a compassionate homeless person who brought her to us. Incredibly, Mabel had just opened her eyes within the last 48 hours and weighed a mere 45 grams—small enough to fit in the palm of my hand. We're grateful for the chance to give this bundle of joy a second chance at life.
