The Fruit of The Spirit

Living in the Spirit rather than the flesh is what Galatians Chapter 5 instructs us to do. Upon being saved, the majority of us, if not all of us, choose to include God in our lives instead of giving God authority over lives. How do we bear the fruit of the Spirit?
