Ukraine Soldiers Flee, Zelensky Lashes West; Big Win For Russia In Kursk Counter-Offensive

Ukrainian President Zelensky acknowledged Russian forces' counteroffensive in the Kursk region, where Russia claimed to have recaptured 10 towns after Ukraine's incursion in August. While Zelensky suggested this aligns with Ukraine's military strategy, Russia declared it was on the offensive, repelling Ukrainian attacks and retaking territory.

Ukraine, however, clarified the incursion was not for annexation but to divert Russian troops.
