Harry Potter Series Wants DIVERSE CASTING and Promises BIG Changes!

HBO is adapting the Harry Potter books into a seven season series and casting is now underway in the UK. It is understood that each book will get fleshed out better and more true to the source material of JK Rowling, but if the casting memo is anything to go by, it might not be the most accurate adaptation...

Diversity and inclusion is the message of the day with the understanding that someone from the main cast is getting race or gender swapped. It would be too much to switch up Harry, but Ron Weasley or Hermione Granger look to be ripe for the picking and one has already been race swapped in a play, so temper your expectations of faithfulness.

Dumbledore is 100% going to be gay, though.
