The World's Largest Drone Manufacturer DJI Has Been a Tool of CCP’s Surveillance

09/11/2024 FDD(The Foundation for Defense of Democracies): DJI is a CCP-controlled company whose products have been weaponized to force the collection of biometric information, monitor ethnic minorities, and collect data in the U.S. and share it with CCP’s intelligence agencies. Given the risks DJI drones pose to national security, many countries have banned or restricted its products, and the US and its partners should further develop networks of trusted allied suppliers.
