In today’s video we do a first-time viewing reaction to Tom MacDonald’s song “Dear Rappers.”
This song reminds me a lot of the advice to surround yourself with high quality people. You become or are like the 5 people you surround yourself with the most. Are those good people for your future? If your peers are dragging you or keeping you down, you may want to consider getting a new group of peers.
Also, be careful idolizing people in media/entertainment. This song was about the disappointment that Tom felt when he realized that the rappers had nothing positive to contribute to his life at all. Drugs, women, cars, alcohol… none of it was a positive influence.
