Growing up in Texas, Don found himself moving to several parts of the U.S. Growing up a "military brat" brought on unique challenges. His artistry was known at an early age. Winning a drawing contests brought him to the Walt Disney studios where he spent 11 years. He eventually ended up in Huntsville Alabama where he met his wife and started Don Howard Studios.
