We had a candid conversation about the big issues up for a vote in November in SD, our beliefs on all of it, and our first impressions when we each first met Mary Fitzgerald, the District 31 legislator that Shana is aiming to unseat.

My personal goal has always been to find common ground after realizing that despite political divides between me and others, and even varying beliefs between fellow Republicans, there is ALWAYS something I have in common with others. We're all humans who bear the right to be heard, share our thoughts and opinions, and enjoy each other's company in this kind of setting. Those who understand this level of free speech are those I've noticed I have the best conversations with, regardless of our political affiliation and differing beliefs, and it's then that we actually make headway as Americans coming together as we should.
