SYNOPSIS
When a college friend of the local soda-jerk arrives in town with the intention of purchasing property for a new resort, the townspeople are initially excited by the prospect of development. However, the situation takes a surprising turn when the friend buys a piece of land and quickly "discovers" oil reserves beneath it. He then offers the townspeople the opportunity to buy shares in what he claims will be a lucrative oil venture.

Dr. Christian, known for his integrity and sharp mind, becomes wary of the sudden discovery and the friend’s eagerness to sell shares. Sensing that something may be amiss, he embarks on an investigation to uncover the truth behind the supposed oil find. As Dr. Christian digs deeper, he uncovers clues that suggest the possibility of a swindle designed to exploit the townspeople's hopes and dreams. With mounting evidence pointing towards deceit, he races against time to expose the scheme and protect his community from financial ruin.
