As you can see in the video taken on May 26, 2018, in Hsinchu, Taiwan, a parrot has taken a cat’s meow on his repertoire as a momentary fascination. The sounds that this turquoise beauty produces are just identical with the sound a cat would produce! Close your eyes and you can even imagine a cat standing in front of you begging for a snack.

But, for our bird, impersonation does not end at the vocal level. Parrots are also known for imitating the gate, peculiarities of body language and movement of the person that trained them. In the video, the parrot is rubbing its head off the bed covers, in the style of a real cat rubbing off and purring with satisfaction.
