Trump and Harris clash over her racial identity in debate

Moderators asked former president Donald Trump about a past comment that Democratic candidate Kamala Harris had recently "become a Black person." He replied, "I couldn't care less. Whatever she wants to be is OK with me." Harris, who is of Black and South Asian descent, responded, "It's a tragedy that a presidential candidate has used race to divide Americans."
