Nevada: The Washoe County Sheriff just put out an emergency warning advising residents around the Davis Fire, outside Reno, that the fire could run over 7 miles tomorrow.

The National Weather Service has issued a “PDS” for the area and they fully expect the fire to grow substantially.

PDS stands for "particularly dangerous situation" and is a term used by the National Weather Service (NWS) to indicate a high risk of severe weather. The NWS uses this enhanced wording in rare circumstances when there is a possibility of long-lasting, strong, and violent weather. This was issued on top of a Red Flag Warning.

They advise residents to adhere to any evacuation orders issued, and are prepping the community for extreme fire growth.
