Isaiah 25
This chapter is a song of praise. It is a song of joy for the return of Messiah. This song is in reference to His people overcoming difficult times in the very last days and their rescue on the Day of Yahweh.

Isa 25:1 O LORD, Thou art my God; I will exalt Thee, I will give thanks to Thy name; For Thou hast worked wonders, Plans formed long ago, with perfect faithfulness.

Once again, this is a song of praise. Elohim's plans were formed long ago and He has worked with perfect faithfulness through the ages.

Isa 25:2 For Thou hast made a city into a heap, A fortified city into a ruin; A palace of strangers is a city no more, It will never be rebuilt.

Isa 25:3 Therefore a strong people will glorify Thee; Cities of ruthless nations will revere Thee.

The devastation at His return will be immense. There will not be a fortified city able to withstand it.

(Nah. 3:12-15).

All the remaining nations of the world will revere and glorify Him

(Isa 49:23-26, 60:10-14, 66:18-20, Psalm 72:8-11, Ezekiel 38:23).

Isa 25:4 For Thou hast been a defense for the helpless, A defense for the needy in his distress, A refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat; For the breath of the ruthless Is like a rain storm against a wall.

Isa 25:5 Like heat in drought, Thou dost subdue the uproar of aliens; Like heat by the shadow of a cloud, the song of the ruthless is silenced.

Elohim is our refuge. In that day, the noise of His enemies will be silenced.

Isa 25:6 And the LORD of hosts will prepare a lavish banquet for all peoples on this mountain; A banquet of aged wine, choice pieces with marrow, And refined, aged wine.

This is the feast to be the marriage supper of the lamb. When Messiah returns, He will gather His people together.

(Isa 27:12-13).

His bride will have made herself ready.

(Rev 19:7-9). Then we will be with Him as He comes down in judgment and lands on the Mount of Olives.
(Zech 14:1-5).

At that time, after the destruction of those gathered against Israel, we will have the marriage supper of the Lamb on this mountain.

Isa 25:7 And on this mountain He will swallow up the covering which is over all peoples, Even the veil which is stretched over all nations.

The surface of covering is the veil of ignorance which blinds people from the Truth of Elohim's Torah.

2 Cor 3:13-18).
