Storm Shield Forecast morning update 5/28/18

Today will be dramatically warmer as high pressure builds in the Pacific. That sends our temperatures soaring to the mid-90s in the valley today with moderate air quality, the upper 80s in the Kern River Valley and the upper 70s in the south mountains. The Kern Desert, as usual, looks to be the hottest spot in the county, with Ridgecrest and California City in the upper 90s.
