Web Designer

Website Design and Development:

Create website layouts/user interfaces by using standard HTML/CSS practices.
Design page layouts and templates.
Ensure designs are optimized for various devices (desktop, mobile, tablet).
Visual and Graphic Design:

Design engaging and responsive landing pages.
Create visually appealing elements such as icons, graphics, and images.
Develop and maintain consistent branding across all web pages.
User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) Design:

Conduct user research to understand target audience needs.
Develop wireframes and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look.
Ensure the website’s functionality and aesthetic are always balanced and optimized.
Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate with marketing teams, developers, and content creators to improve website performance and user engagement.
Liaise with back-end developers to ensure web and app logic is properly integrated.
Communicate with clients to understand their needs and translate them into web designs.
Technical Tasks and Troubleshooting:

Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
Test websites to ensure they are working across different browsers and devices.
Troubleshoot and fix bugs, ensuring the website is secure and functioning correctly.
SEO and Analytics:

Implement SEO best practices for websites.
Utilize analytics tools to monitor performance and make adjustments to improve user experience.
Maintenance and Updates:

Regularly update content and make adjustments to the website as needed.
Keep up-to-date with the latest web design trends, techniques, and technologies.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or related field.
Proven work experience as a Web Designer or similar role.
Proficiency in front-end development web programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Experience with design software (e.g., Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma).
Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles and best practices.
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Joomla, etc.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative projects.
Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
Experience with motion design and animation (using tools like After Effects).
Understanding of SEO principles and implementation.
