Restaurant Salsa

Cutting back on processed food and trying to save money by making foods from scratch as much as possible.

In a Blender or Food Processor add:
2 cans diced tomatoes
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1-2 cloves of peeled garlic
1/2-1 onion (about 1 small onion in total)
1/4 cup jarred jalapeños
juice of one lime or 1/8-1/4 cup jarred lime juice
small handful Fresh Cilantro

*Blend, check and blend more if necessary. Then refrigerate for at least 2 hours, taste and adjust as you would like. We almost always need to add more jalapeños because my family likes their salsa very hot

( With extra cilantro I chop and add to small jars, fill with water and freeze the extra cilantro to use and add to rice, chili or soup in the future.)
