THE TREATY OF WAITANGI AN OFFICIAL AGREEMENT: Also known as the Te Tiriti o Waitangi (known in English as the Treaty of Waitangi). Is an official agreement made in 1840 between Representatives of the British Crown and (ultimately) more than 500 rangatira Māori. It resulted in the Declaration of British Sovereignty over New Zealand.

A Treaty is an official agreement. an agreement or arrangement made by negotiation, obligation and commitment

My Personal View is that the Treaty Of Waitangi - Te Tiriti o Waitangi is NOT a Founding, Living or a Constitutional Document, as we are led to believe. The Treaty of Waitangi did not create Principles or Partnerships.
