NASA Astronaut Captures Photograph Of Milky Way While Orbiting Earth

Posted • September 10, 2024: The moon was not in view during the crew’s orbit in the night portions — which meant the Milky Way’s main belt was bright enough for one of the astronauts, Matthew Dominick, to take a photograph just before sunrise.
