Disney’s latest live-action Star Wars series, The Acolyte, was a monumental failure for Disney+ and now new rumors are circulating that Disney wants to cut back on the number of Star Wars series they produce.

Since Disney announce the cancelation of The Acolyte many Disney Star Wars fans have been upset and have tried to start a petition to get the series renewed. When this didn’t work, they started a petition but so far too few have signed it to make it worthwhile. The fact is not enough people are watching Disney Star Wars to make it viable and a recent data leak has shown the company need to cut costs.
