Woman, dogs escape house fire in Covington

A woman tossed her two dogs to neighbors and escaped a fire on the second floor of a house in Covington Sunday afternoon, fire officials said. The fire happened on Bush Street near Garrard about 2:20 p.m., fire Capt. Kaleb Milller said.
