IMAGINE A “Yellow Afternoon” Would it look like this? Expressionist Oil Landscape Painting 8x10

Good day there friend. This little guy started with just red ochre. I remembered an artist Stuart Davies talking about that is the color of mud. Then the yellow. When I saw that space in between it made me think of the rest of the painting. I just started with the color and the rest of the piece came to me as I started paining. I like taking some of the techniques that I know and using colors that are not traditional to make something that just works. I hope you enjoy this video.
