Numerical Miracle in the Quran Changed the Mind of an Atheist

Miracles or "breaking of the norms" are not explained by showing you how they are done. That would merely be kicking the can down the road. Rather, they are explained by remembering that there is an All-Powerful creator who made these normative physical laws in the first place. If the premise of Islam is that the only absolute is Allah, and that all of the cause and effect laws of nature are His creations that He can turn on or off at any time, then every breaking of the norm (miracle) is very easy to accept, provided the transmission is sound. The awe and wonder is in their rarity and the in the feeling that Allah is elevating us from belief-via-transmission to belief-via-direct demonstration.
