WITT: “Now to a head spinning 24 hours of significant developments in the trials of Donald Trump. Judge Juan merchan is delaying the sentencing. He attended his E. Jean Carroll hearing and turned into a campaign event. And judge tanya Chutkan spoke. Let’s get into this because we have first the hush money sentencing where the judge cited the election as one of the reason for the delay. Do you agree it should be pushback or is the judge tipping the political skills, as he did not attend to, by withholding a decision.”

ARONBERG: “Good to be back with you. I don’t agree with the decision to postpone until after the election. Treating Trump different than every other defendant. It benefits Donald Trump. In this case, the prosecutor, Alvin Bragg, did not oppose Donald Trump’s choice to push the sentencing until later. Because he did not stand up for himself on this one, the judge was like, not going to fight your battles for you. Funeral pushback on this, don’t look at me. I will not be the bad guy. The judge says we will push it. That is a shame because there’s no reason to delay it. In this case, like every case, you have to follow the evidence and the law and ignore the politics and the noise. They listened to the noise and gave Donald Trump what he wanted.”
