4 months ago I did this cover up over my old palm tattoo that did not heal well. I have been tracking the healing process on How my Palm Tattoo Healed over the last few months to share with everyone.
Palm tattoos are not a very common spot clients pick for a tattoo because it is a common myth that palm tattoos will not last in the skin. Which is kind of true if the tattoo isnt put into the skin properly. I am open to hearing and learning other techniques for tattooing palms and other difficult parts of the body, and im excited to continue learning as I grow as a tattoo artist.

I think one of the most important parts of learning to tattoo is seeing how your tattoos heal and age over time. A tattoo that looks great when it is first done isn't a for sure good tattoo. Giving the body a chance to heal and age the tattoo will really show imperfections in the tattoo, and will teach you what tattooing techniques are ones we should use and also ones we should not use. Learning to tattoo as a beginner is very difficult because of this. Dont get down on yourself when you are learning if you mess up. We all do. Learn and grow!
