Death Race is a vehicular combat game that puts your car in an open space with gremlins. Your goal is to crash into the gremlins so you can brutally and cruelly kill them. Upon dying, they scream. In the spot where the gremlin once was, a cross-shaped gravestone will be left. This clutters the playing field, making it harder to move around. There are dotted lines on the sides, representing two narrow "safe" zones on the left and right sides of the screen for the gremlins, as your car will crash on contact with the dotted lines.

The title is a little misleading. Another World’s Zombie Apocalypse Is Not My Problem! sounds like the protagonist has no interest in helping stem an outbreak of zombies. Mizuha, like most isekai story main characters, was just an ordinary person, so isn’t thrilled about getting thrust into a dangerous situation. But she’s not indifferent to the problem as the title of this one-volume light novel might suggest. It’s more like I Wouldn’t Mind Stopping a Zombie Apocalypse So Much If It Didn’t Involve Calling Me a Priestess or Requesting My Spit!

If you tell a person to think of a "chainsaw movie," the first thing that's going to come to mind the vast majority of the time is The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. It was a groundbreaking horror film from 1974 about a group of young people who were targeted by a cannibalistic family, with one member of said family infamously wielding a chainsaw. It helped introduce the cinematic potential of the item as a weapon and remains a staple of pop culture thanks to various sequels and remakes.
However, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre does not have a monopoly on the mechanical power tool/improvised weapon, as the following movies demonstrate. All are examples of notable chainsaw usages outside the Texas Chainsaw Massacre series. Interestingly, all were released after 1974, too, perhaps demonstrating the trendsetting, influential nature of the original The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.

Bad Ronald (1974) Movie Review [DVD Panache]
Earlier this month I wrote about my 12 Must (somehow Sees) -- rare or hard to find movies I long to view. I had little hope of watching any of these movies, but that was before good samaritan and all-around awesome blogger Marty McKee basically gave me a "step inside my office." Through Marty's goodwill, I will be able to cross two of those movies off my list, including the one I had most wanted to see -- Bad Ronald. A 1974 television movie, it seems like I've been aware of Bad Ronald for a long time, though I'm not sure when I first learned about it. I had high expectations for this movie, and am happy to say that they were largely exceeded.
