Yesterday, the International Peace Coalition (IPC) heard from a qualified panel of military, scientific, and political experts who addressed the ongoing mobilization to thermonuclear war with Russia and China by the current, delusional pack of wolves occupying institutions of leadership in the United States and Europe.

This panel featured Ted Postol, MIT Professor Emeritus and one of the world’s leading experts on nuclear weapons; Col. Larry Wilkerson, chief of staff to then-U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell; Jack Matlock, former ambassador to the USSR from 1897 to 1991 and scholar of Russian history and culture; Lt. Col. Ralph Bosshard (ret.) of the Swiss Armed Forces, a consultant on military-strategic affairs; and Donald Ramotar, former President of Guyana.

Helga Zepp-LaRouche, chairwoman of the Schiller Institute, opened the panel by discussing the current nuclear doctrine of the Biden Administration, which calls for the U.S. to prepare for a three-front nuclear war against Russia, China, and North Korea. That doctrine was actually preceded by a series of modifications to U.S. strategy in 2017 and 2018, when President Trump announced in his National Security Strategy that Russia and China were to be considered geopolitical rivals, followed by a National Defense Strategy to modernize nuclear weapons in 2018.

The root cause of the conflict against Russia, China, and the Global South, however, is the pending collapse of the trans-Atlantic financial system, which now sits on $33 trillion of debt, and China’s reaction against that impending collapse to extend its win-win economic model based on real physical growth to developing nations.

“Therefore,” said Zepp-LaRouche, “you don’t solve the problem by just making a new defense treaty or disarmament treaty or any such thing. You have to address the root causes, which means you have to have a change in the paradigm.”

Today’s Manhattan Town Hall Program will feature many sections from yesterday’s IPC meeting, along with an evaluation by LaRouche Organization Spokesman Harley Schlanger of the implications of that meeting and where we stand now.
