The Blob (1958)

Directed by Irvin Yeaworth, and is one of the most iconic B-movies of its era. It stars a young Steve McQueen (in his first lead role) as the hero, Steve Andrews, who, along with his girlfriend Jane Martin (played by Aneta Corsaut), tries to warn the town about a deadly, expanding alien lifeform.
