RANCHO PALO VERDY IN S CALIFORNIA IS A STATE OF EMERGENCY DUE TO LANDSLIDES

The oceanfront community of Rancho Palos Verdes in southern California is having land move about 10 inches a week, putting many times in danger. The electricity and gas has been turned off to over a hundred homes, because of the movement and the risk of fire. This has been a decades long issue, that is escalating now and costing millions in remediation for a problem that is not going away.
