The military personnel of the T-80BVM tank crew of the Center group of forces destroyed a strong point and a dugout of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which prevented offensive actions of assault units in the Avdiivka direction of the special military operation zone (SVO), with fire from a closed firing position (ZOP).

The crew of the T-80BVM tank received the coordinates of the target from calculations of reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Arriving at a pre-prepared firing position, the tankers quickly guided the combat vehicle to the target and fired 125 mm high-explosive shells at a range of up to 10 km successfully hit the enemy's fortifications, enabling the stormtroopers to carry out offensive actions to capture the AFU strongholds and complete the combat tasks assigned to the assault groups.

The shooting was carried out with constant correction and control of hits by the operators of the UAV calculations, which made it possible to quickly work on the target with the lowest consumption of ammunition.

The "semi-direct fire" with constant adjustment by UAV calculations allows tankers to inflict damage to the enemy, remaining unnoticed for the maximum time for its counter-battery and aerial reconnaissance means.
