Fourth installation of the series, the film is also known as Mr. Wong at Headquarters in the United Kingdom. The picture was followed by the sequel Doomed to Die, which also stars Karloff, Reynolds and Withers.

SYNOPSIS
"The Fatal Hour" is a 1940 mystery crime film directed by William Nigh. It is one of the films featuring the character Mr. Wong, a Chinese-American detective. In this installment, Mr. Wong, played by Boris Karloff, investigates the murder of a police officer. The trail leads him into a tangled web of smuggling, betrayal, and intrigue involving a criminal gang operating in the city.
