Florida Surgeon Removed the Liver instead of the Spleen – Man Dies – The Surgeon Lies

William Bryan, 70, was experiencing pain in the neck and shoulder area – went to Ascension Sacred Heart Emerald Hospital, was told he needed to have his Spleen removed immediately.

Dr. Thomas Shaknovsky, a general surgeon, and Dr. Christopher Bacani, the hospital’s chief medical officer, said that he could experience serious complications if he left the hospital’s care.

Dr. Shaknovsky performed a Hand-assisted laparoscopic Splenectomy surgery (HALS) – well, it was supposed to be splenectomy, but he took out the Liver instead.

Whoops.

Unfortunately, William Bryan died on the operating table.

Dr. Shaknovsky lied and said the liver was the spleen. He said that William’s spleen was so diseased that it was four times bigger than normal and it had moved to the other side of his body.

What’s 4 x bigger than the spleen? That’s called the LIVER.

It’s one thing to make a lethal surgical mistake, but it’s another thing to lie about it and not take accountability.

What is sad about this?

It wasn’t this Doctor’s first time of removing something that was vital to the human body.

Just last year in 2023 -- Dr. Shaknovsky was supposed to remove an adrenal gland and he removed portions of the Pancreas.

Somebody must of forgot Anatomy 101 and definitely needs a refresher course.

This sh*t should never happen.
