(Video Short) Combat Shooting Practice (in the backyard)

Just a quick video showing some combat shooting basics. Doesn’t matter if you’re hitting bullseyes in CS, as long as you hit the “combat stopping zone” (the head, chest, gut). I also loaded a dummy round in my Glock .40 cal to simulate a jam or malfunction, hence the deployment of my Mossberg 12 gauge.

The difference between CS and target shooting? TS uses fine motor skills and precision aim while shooting from a stationary position. CS uses gross motor skills and muscle memory for the placement of your rounds in the same general area …and moving through the targets. Both have their uses depending on the situation.

I’ll do a full video with instruction in the near future, this was just a quick run I set up and did on a whim. (I’ll have sound next time, muted my action cam by accident! So I added music to fill the audio void).
