Tim Walz Subpoenaed for Oversight in Massive $250 Million Fraud Scheme

Democratic Vice President Candidate Tim Walz has been subpoenaed by U.S. Rep Virginia Foxx, R-N.C. over the Minnesota Department of Education’s administration of the Feeding Our Future program. A U.S. attorney in 2022 charged 70 individuals for “alleged roles in defrauding the USDA of $250 million in taxpayer funds – money intended to feed hungry children,” according to a release from the Committee on Education & The Workforce in the U.S. House of Representatives.
