Teotihuacan, Mexico. Large sheets of mica were found embedded in the walls of this ancient Mexican city. The closest place, a mica quarry, is in Brazil, thousands of kilometers away. Mica is now being used in energy production technology.
This raises the question of why the builders used this mineral in the buildings of their city. Did these ancient architects know some long-forgotten energy sources to use electricity in their cities?
