S1E35: Beautiful Borneo and daytrip to Brunei

🎤 We kicked off our first evening in Kuching with some fun karaoke! 🎶 The next day, we ventured into the stunning Bako National Park 🏞️ to experience its incredible nature and wildlife. We followed that with a boat ride 🚤 through the Kuching Wetlands National Park, spotting even more natural beauty. 🌿
🐒 Lucky enough, we had the unforgettable opportunity to see Orangutans at the Semenggoh Wildlife Center! Afterward, we hopped on a bus 🚌 to Miri, preparing for a day trip to Brunei. In Miri, we caught a glimpse of hornbills at the Piasau Nature Reserve 🦜 before taking private transport to Brunei. 🇧🇳

💡 We saw oil wells in action and visited the Billionth Barrel Monument 🛢️, learning about the region's history with oil production. Fridays hold special significance in Islamic countries, and we shared some interesting facts about that. 🕌

We explored the charming Pengiran Bendahara Lama area before taking a spiritual pause at the magnificent Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque, admiring its golden dome. 🕌 The bustling market in Brunei was lively as it was the Sultan’s birthday, adding to the festive atmosphere. 🎉

From there, we traveled to Kota Kinabalu 🌆, where we strolled through the vibrant night market 🌙, and ended the journey by hopping on a bus to Sandakan. 🚌

PS.: We are not 100% sure about the names of the animals, insects, and all the spotted wildlife. It was the closest interpretation to our knowing and research.
