1776 Law 2nd sentence of page 1 of USCA:
His oath is to protect God-given unalienable Rights of all equally created men. Among these Rights are Life, Liberty, [Property], and pursuit of Happiness.

Preamble
We the people ... establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility,...and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves ...,do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

Article I Section 1:
All legislative powers...shall be vested in a Congress

Amendment 1
Congress shall make no law...abridging the freedom of speech, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition Government for a redress of grievances.
