Meshtastic | Build your own off grid coms mesh network

Learn the basics for device selection, how they work, what to use them for and how to flash firmware and configure the main settings. I showcase building some basic solar repeater nodes, as well as an example naming/call sign convention that I use.

These are 915MHz radio devices that create a mesh network that unlimited numbers of units can join in on and talk via text message. All devices can relay messages and location from any other which makes these ideal for not only small area communication, but much longer distances by using the power of the self healing mesh network.

Incredibly useful for grid down scenarios, or if working in an area with no cell or internet access. The more devices, the greater the operating ranges will be.
