Was the Pre-Trib Rapture Invented by Darby & the Rothschilds? (John Rich on Tucker Carlson)

Country singer John Rich recently went on The Tucker Carlson Show to discuss his new song, Revelation, although the seeming majority of the time was spent attacking the pretrib Rapture. Rich made a number of bold statements and claims, including advocating that the pretrib rapture is a lie that originated in the 1800's from John Darby, who he also says was connected with the Rothschilds. He further attacks the study notes of the Scofield Reference Bible, which also take a pretrib view.
