A Constitution made only for a moral and religious people

John Adams, 2nd President, signer of Declaration of Independence, wrote: "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."

It appears that we are going to test Adams on this point... to our detriment.
