Disrespectful of the values and principles our nation were founded on

It has become abundantly clear that a large percentage of Americans have deviated from the founding values, morals and principles our nation was founded on when it comes to mutual respect for others, when it comes to politics and religion.
Have we lost all ability to get back to the core values and moral principles that our founding fathers held so near and dear.
Have we lost the ability to think of others and only think of ourselves, have we lost the ability to think rationally and without bias when it comes to politics through free thinking and just aimlessly believe what we are feed. And have we lost the ability to properly interpret the true teachings in our religious beliefs.
If so we must remember “ a house divided cannot stand.”
