"SHADOW" TAKEOFF AT SEA TAC!

As a former Commercially-rated General Aviation Pilot, I have more than just a casual interest in Flying and the Flying Community. I also travel from time to time. If I am fortunate enough to book a Window-seat, I take full advantage of the opportunity to create Videos. Each Take-off and Landing is different for many reasons. A clear Day gives one view, a cloudy one, a different view and so forth. The Time of Day is a big influencer, as a low Sun brings out all the drama of Shadows and Colors!

Here we experience an early Morning take-off from SEA TAC, Seattle-Tacoma Airport in Washington State. The Sun is low in the Sky and the Aircraft casts a distinct Shadow as we make the take-off run and climb out. The Shadow follows us and becomes smaller and smaller! As we penetrate the scattered fog, a 360 degree rainbow shows briefly! Enjoy our run over the Seattle-Everett area and climb eastward towards the Cascade Range!
