It has been apparent from the beginning, that the only way to secure the release of the hostages, was by negotiations! It’s how the first hostages were released, and it’s the only way the rest will be released! Netanyahu has consistently refused to accept a reasonable settlement! The notion that the IDF will stay at the Egyptian border is totally unacceptable, to the Egyptians, the Palestinians, and to international law! He is using this sticking point to implement The Hannibal Protocol version 2! To date the IDF has killed more hostages than they have rescued.
