Kevin Acton, Vernon-Lumby Mayor, confirms Independent Candidate status.

Kevin Acton, previously elected as BC United Candidate, but 'cut loose' by Kevin Falcon, who publicly withheld party endorsement from ALL announced BC United Candidates in advance of October 19, 2024 provincial general election. Kevin Acton is the first candidate to announce his resolve and determination to continue his campaign, now unfettered from party political infighting and control.

Mr. Acton now has a direct line of responsibility, communication and consultation with local constituents, making him the best conceivable steward and representative of Vernon-Lumby riding constituents in Victoria's Legislative Assembly.
