November 11, 1893 - 'Monon Bell Memory' : DePauw vs. Wabash

The men of Wabash College built a fence around their football turf, Philistine Field before the game, but the men in red couldn't fence in the eleven from DePauw University once the contest began. Led by team captain Arthur Whitcomb, DePauw returned from Crawfordsville 48-34 victors.
