Polio vaccinations for Gaza children surpass targets, says WHO

The World Health Organization said that it was ahead of schedule in its polio vaccination campaign in the enclave on Tuesday (September 3), day three of a mass drive, and had inoculated about a quarter of children under 10. Rik Peeperkorn, WHO representative for the Occupied Palestinian Territory told reporters area-specific humanitarian pauses are working.
