Simple Stretch to Relieve Lower Back Pain
If you struggle with chronic lower back pain, this simple stretch could provide relief. Many cases of low back pain are caused by tight hip flexor muscles pulling the pelvis into an anterior tilt, which puts strain on the lower back. To test if this is the cause of your pain:
1. Lie on your back with legs straight. If your back feels irritated, note that.

1. Sit on a firm surface like a table or counter. Scoot your butt to the edge.
2. Lie back, bringing both knees to your chest.
