USPSA All Classifier Match 8/31/24 - All Stages

Had a great USPSA All Classifier local match this weekend. Good times with some great people, on a beautiful day in Flagstaff, AZ.

It was a sobering reminder of how far I am from my goals as a shooter (I’d like to make A class one of these good days!) and how much room there is for improvement.

Could have done better, could have done worse. That being said, I stuck to my game plan (let my sight confirmation dictate my speed - hopefully without being plagued with overconfirmation , don’t be concerned with my scores, don’t be concerned with other’s scores, don’t watch others, rehearse my stage plan and don’t be overly social, especially right before my turn) and I didn’t let the mistakes get stay stuck in my head too much.

I have been competing in USPSA regularly for about a year and a half at this point, but only became a USPSA member in June. I think that when the rankings come out on Wednesday I will likely find myself at the low end of C class, with what I estimate to be a 45.28% standing.

Back to the grind…
