After the bombing of Pearl Harbor, Franklin Delano Roosevelt signed executive order 9066 in February of 1942. So 120,000 Japanese-American citizens along with Japanese non-citizens were placed in 10 Internment camps or "relocation centers" in the United States. I was at the Topaz Relocation Center early August 2024 to visit this historic site about 12 miles northwest of Delta, Utah. This was not a concentration camp or work/death camp like Auschwitz.
